Cargo vault shares are permissioned. Only verified, whitelisted wallets can hold them, so taking part starts with onboarding rather than with a wallet connection.

Check You Are Eligible

You are not a US person and not acting for one (Regulation S).
You are a professional or institutional investor where you are resident.
You are not resident in any jurisdiction the vault’s term sheet excludes. For the Genesis Vault, that includes the CEMAC region.
If you cannot confirm all three, you can still read about the mechanism, the proof of reserve and the research, but you cannot hold vault shares.

Onboard

1

Get in Touch

Email cargovaults@gmail.com for allocations, the data room, a call or general questions.
2

NDA and Data Room

Sign the mutual NDA to open the data room: term sheet, rulebook, risk statement, legal documents and lot records.
3

KYC or KYB

Verify through Persona and sign the Eligibility Declaration. Entities also verify beneficial owners above 10% and the authority of the signatory. See KYC and wallets.
4

Whitelist Up to Three Wallets

Sign the ownership message from each wallet. Compliance screens it and adds it to the on-chain identity registry.
5

Buy

Commit USDC in a vault’s Genesis Auction when its window opens, or place a sealed bid in a batch auction afterwards. Either way you buy below NAV and receive vault shares in your own wallet at settlement. The first window is the Genesis Vault’s (cvCOCOA), which has been rescheduled. See How-To Guides.
We never send a deposit address by chat or email alone. The only valid address is the one in your signed agreement, confirmed by phone with a named director using a number from the data room. Always send a small test amount first.

What Happens Next

Hold or Rotate

Keep the discount to NAV, or recycle it every batch.

Exit

Redeem at NAV, use the Liquidity Bridge, or take delivery.
